Welcome to Wise Owl - a friendly private nursery in Durrington which provides quality day care in an intimate, home-from-home environment. We cater for children from birth to seven years. We are open from 7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday (except for bank holidays).
Our excellent facilities allow us to cater for 55 children; 12 babies and 45 2-5 year olds.

Wholesome breakfasts, healthy snacks, and nutritionally balanced lunches and teas are all provided inclusive of the price.

We also have Wise Owl Kids Den Out of School Club for children of between 4 and 12 years of age. This includes a Breakfast Club between 7.30am–9am, an After School Club between 3pm–6pm and a Holiday Club between 7:30am-6pm (each at an additional cost).
At Wise Owl, your child directly benefits from the attentions of our devoted nursery nurses, and we're proud to say our staffing levels go above and beyond Ofsted requirements. All our staff members are constantly working to improve their skills and knowledge and as a result the service we provide.

Each child is given a key worker based on who they bond with most during their first week at the nursery. The child's key worker will then observe the child's learning and development and create fun activities centred on the child's interests and abilities. Your child will be encouraged and highly rewarded for their achievements e.g. winning the Wise Owl of the Month Award.
Your Window On The Wise Owl World

For extra peace of mind, if you have access to the Internet, you can watch your child at play on our secure, constantly streaming webcams, which cover the babies' suite and all the rooms downstairs. Wise Owl is the only nursery in Wiltshire to offer this service.
Quality Setting

Our latest Ofsted inspection was on the 5th January 2010 and we got a GOOD for it. For more information please visit the Ofsted web site at www.ofsted.gov.uk.
Outings

Wise Owl arrange regular outings for our children so they can see new things and learn first hand about the world they live in.

Our outings are usually scheduled twice a month for both the 0-2 and 2-5 year groups and we believe our nursery is the only one in the area to offer such exciting and diverse learning opportunities for our children.

We have weekly trips to Millenium Park - Daily walks to explore local interests such as Church, Shops, Swimming pool and Local Indian culture. In addition, we have weekly trips to the Library where the children can choose books to read.
Eco Friendly

As well as having regular outings we have introduced a new educational programme called Eco-schools.
The aim of Eco-Schools is to raise our children's awareness of the natural environment and current issues affecting it. This is so our children can grow up with knowledge, understanding and respect for nature. They will also learn to protect it by recycling, creating habitats for animals, growing our own vegetables, and tidying away litter so that the environment will be just as beautiful for future generations.
Pots make Pounds

Ever keen to get more resources for our children we are taking part in 'Pots make Pounds'.

We will need your help collecting Petit Filous pot lids, which we can then exchanges for vouchers for nursery resources such as paints, pencil crayons, paper, toys and even furniture. To find out more please visit www.potsmakepounds.co.uk.
