Welcome to Wise Owl - a friendly private nursery in Durrington which provides quality day care in an intimate, home-from-home environment for children from birth to seven years. We are open from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

Our excellent facilities allow us to cater for 34 children - 9 babies, and 25 older children. Breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea are all provided. There is a breakfast club between 7.30am – 9 am, with an Out Of School Club between 3 pm – 6 pm( both at an additional cost).

At Wise Owl, your child directly benefits from the attentions of our devoted nursery nurses, and we’re proud to say our staffing levels go above and beyond Ofsted requirements. This means smaller group sizes, which ensures a close relationship between your child and his or her keyworker.

Your Window On The Wise Owl World - for extra peace of mind, if you have access to the Internet, you can watch your child at play on our secure, constantly streaming webcams, which cover the babies’ suite and all the rooms downstairs. Wise Owl is the only nursery in Wiltshire to offer this service.

Each day is structured around our unique rotation system, which means during each session, your child will move through our different rooms (creative, role-play and learning), giving them every chance to develop as fully as possible.

At Wise Owl, we also have a safe and enclosed garden where your child not only will get plenty of fresh air and exercise, but also learn about the natural world.

We have some sad news, our rabbit called Daisy has passed away :( All the children have been told about it but they may talk about it at home.

Special Events in July 2010

Saturday 3rd - Our first nursery Summer Fete 12.00 to 3.00 p.m.
This was a big success as we raised £675 which is going to help us pay for nursery trips out. Thank you to all who had attended and who helped out on the day.

Friday 23rd July – Leavers Party
We are having a party for all the children who are going to school and Joker Jack will be joining us for his magic show.

Friday 30th July - Restaurant Visit
We are all going to the Emperor of India restaurant for lunch. This is part of our multi-cultural awareness week.
