We believe the people working in a nursery are crucial to providing a happy and safe learning environment. Our fully qualified staff have been chosen because of their love of, and dedication to, working with children. Here’s a brief insight into how they became part of the Wise Owl world.

Mrs Toni Krajnik - Proprietor

I was born in Scunthorpe, completed my degree in Psychology at Manchester and went on to a Masters degree in Psychology at Hull, before becoming a qualified teacher. I then became head of two departments at the former Thomas Sumpter School in Scunthorpe. My main roles at Wise Owl are to oversee the running of the nursery and to ensure the teaching is of the highest quality. My young son Leo attends Wise Owl nursery.

Sarah Beaufoy - Nursery Manager

I have a National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and I am currently studying an Early Years Foundation Degree at Winchester University. I have worked in nurseries for about 16 years.

Pamela Sheridan - Senior Nursery Nurse

I have NVQ 2 & 3 in Early Years Care and Education and I am currently doing a 3 year Early Years Foundation Degree at Yeovil University centre. I have been working in child care for about 14 years, 7 years have been working in nurseries. I am the Room Leader for the Owlets Room.

Sarah Ronning - Deputy Nursery Manager

I have an NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education and I have worked in childcare for 5 years. I work as the Room Leader for the Owls Room. I also work in the Holiday Club during the school holidays.

I am 19yrs old and I have my NVQ2 in Childcare and Education. I have been working in childcare for 2 years and work in the Owls Room.

Lisa Clare Futcher - Nursery Nurse

I am eighteen years old and went to Andover College for two years to study Childcare and Education. I gained a Level 3 qualification and left college in June 2008. I work in the Owls Room and I am the Out-of-Hours Manager.

I am 24 years old and work in the Owlets Room. I have a 2 year old son who attends the nursery (in the Owls Room). I have worked in child care since leaving college in 2002 and have worked in a day nursery and as a nanny. I have a BTEC First in Care and I’m currently studying for an NVQ3 in Early Years and Education.

Hayley Newton - Apprentice

I am 19years old. I work in the Owls Room as apprentice studying my NVQ2 in childcare. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant and taught in after school clubs for a range of ages whilst studying my A levels.

Jemma Barwick - Apprentice

I work in the Owlets Room as an apprentice. I'm 17 years old and have recently worked in 2 other nurseries. I'm currently working towards my NVQ2 in childcare.

Rose Fulford - Nursery Nurse

My name is Rose and I’m 20 years old. I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education Level 3. I work in the Owl’s Room.

Emma Foyle - Apprentice

I am currently studying for my NVQ Level 2 in Childcare while at Wise Owls through the FNCT Training Consultancy in Salisbury. I haven’t been here long but I’m enjoying it.

Rebecca Foyle- Apprentice

I am currently studying for my NVQ level 2 in Childcare while at Wise Owls through the FNCT Training Consultancy in Salisbury which I started in November last year. I have also worked in nursery for my year 10 Work Experience and it was a great success.

Sian Harris - Apprentice

My name is Sian. I am an apprentice at Wise Owl Nursery. I am currently studying my NVQ2. I have previously done a college course in hairdressing and have also taken an A level in Media. I have previosuly done work experience in a nursery and I loved it which is why I decided to work with children.
