Welcome to Wise Owl
- a friendly private nursery in Scunthorpe which provides quality day care in an intimate, home-from-home
environment for children from birth to seven years. We are open from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
Our excellent facilities allow us to cater for 22 children - six babies (our Owlets) in the exclusive suite
upstairs, and 16 older children downstairs. The former are divided into two groups: Chestnut Owlets and Spotted Owlets. The latter are divided into three groups: Snowy Owls (children aged
from 18 months-two years), Tawny Owls (two-three years) and Barn Owls (three years and over). all children have their
own key person.
At Wise Owl, your child directly benefits from the attentions of our devoted nurses, and we’re proud to say our
staffing levels go above and beyond Ofsted requirements. This means smaller group sizes, which ensures a close relationship between your child and his or her key person. Indeed, at Wise Owl each child is allowed to settle in in their own time and only then is their key person allocated based on the staff member with whom they have bonded particularly well.
Your Window On The Wise Owl World
- for extra peace of mind, if you have access to the Internet, you can watch your child at play on our secure,
constantly streaming webcams, which cover the babies’ suite and all the rooms downstairs. Wise Owl is the only
nursery in North Lincolnshire to offer this service.
Each day is structured around our unique rotation system, which means during each session, your child will move
through our different rooms (creative, role-play and learning), giving them every chance to develop as fully as
possible.
